Happy Full Moon! Lunar Eclipse on the Gemini Sagittarius Axis

Another magic Monday! Full moon magic on the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. Did anyone sense the lunar eclipse early this morning? I caught a glimpse of it through the clouds here in Portland, as drops of rain speckled my face with their penumbral infused lunar magic.

Penumbral eclipses are more gentle as the moon moves behind the Earth’s outer shadow. They don’t hit us in the same way that Total eclipses do. They reflect a more subtle power.

This Full Moon is a communication moon with open-minded and quick-witted Gemini at the helm. Sun in Sagittarius blesses it with optimism, adventure, and the pursuit of truth. Their archetypes combine as Philosopher and Storyteller. Our stories, myths, philosophies, and narratives serve as a way to communicate and connect with each other. How we do this is up to us individually and collectively. But ultimately in Sagittarius season, the Truth Will Set You Free.

I’m tapping into this Full Moon by sitting with the reality that truth seems to be in the eye of the beholder and lately politically charged. But in my heart, I know there is a Higher Truth, that is Known. That there’s the lower mind and the higher mind.
