Solar New Year Spread

Happy Solar New Year and Merry Yule! Here’s a spread you can use for your Solstice reflection. This is my personal reading, which I’ve thrown, but have not turned the cards yet. I plan to sit with it tonight. I wanted to share it here in case you wanted a tarot spread for your own Solstice contemplation.

Start with The Sun card (or equivalent from an oracle) at the center.

1. It’s been an intense and dark year, but where there’s darkness, we find our greatest potential for growth. What blessings do you need to consider or thank this year that may have been taken for granted?

2. What do you need to start preparing for the incoming cycle? These are action steps you need to start considering.

3. What habits do you need to leave behind that could hinder your greatest potential?

4. As the days grow longer, what gifts, strengths, and blessings are gaining power in your life that you need to focus on or hone? ⠀
