Out with the old, in with the new! The New Moon in Aquarius begins at 1:42pm PST. Today's double Aquarius energy (Sun and Moon, but Mercury has also been in Aquarius) brings the Tarot Star’s energy. Though Aquarius is an air sign, she's the Water Bearer, bringing renewal and new ideas. Aquarius is the visionary, the inventor, the humanitarian, and the revolutionary. And she brings progress! Some astrologers believe that the Age of Aquarius dawned in the 60s, but others say that the Aquarian Age hasn't really begun—that December 21st's Great Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction will be the true gateway to the Age of Aquarius. (That conjunction will be in Aquarius.) I think it's a bit of both. That we've been in that doorway of transition! (If you don't know an astrological age lasts 2000 to 2100 years, and we're leaving the Age of Pisces.) As the lunar month begins (and the Lunar New Year! Tomorrow is the first day of the Chinese New Year and the start of the Rat year), I've been cleansing my space, settling into my self-care practice, and launching into creating my new tarot deck, the Lua Tarot I’ve completed about 25 cards! Here’s the Star again—as one piece this time. Aquarius is often connected to technology and I’ve been working on perfecting my digital collage technique!
Since the Sun-Moon blast of Aquarian energy is present, I've been cleansing my space with water and essential oil. (Water in the Air...Aquarius combo.) Many blessings to you on this New Moon. May the innovation, genius and progressiveness of Aquarius bring the renewal, peace and revelation of The Star.
