I just received my copy of the Flonz Victorian Lenormand by Katherine Andrews and instead of just opening it on sight, I had to unwrap it on video. :) There's a bit of an impromptu review too.
This is a very special deck. What makes it unique is the stamped Lenormand images. What makes it remarkable is that the stamp images were hand drawn by Katherine herself. Flonz is the stamp-maker and as you will see his work is precise.
The Flonz Victorian Lenormand has an extra Lady and Gentlemen card as well as an extra
Seeker card. The cards are a bit bigger than poker size at about 72mm x 104mm (2 13/16" x 4 1/16"). The printing is high quality, the backs are reversible & the matte card stock feels so luxuriantly soft.
The LWB is detailed and completely handwritten. What I enjoy about it is that it has information about Katherine, the stamp maker and also 2 layouts (3 card & Grand Tableau), as well as stamped images of the cards next to the keywords.
I highly recommend this Lenormand, if you can get your hands on it. I love to support indie creators, especially those who put this kind of detail and thought into their work.
If you want one, get one before they sell out. There are only 50 decks printed at this point and there are not many left, if any. There may be more available by the end of July 2014 in different sizes.
UPDATE: This deck is currently out-of-print.
