I made a video of my latest acquisition of the Buckland Romani Tarot. Call it a review or call it "show and tell" but I go through all the cards and make some comments about the deck. This deck has been on my wishlist for some time and I didn't realize it was still in print! The original Llewellyn edition has been OOP for a while, however, Galde Press has been printing the 2nd edition of the cards since 2008 and there were still a few left. The Buckland Romani Tarot's suit names have replaced the standard RWS. Koshes (Wands), Koros (Cups), Chives (Swords) & Bolers (Pentacles). The print quality is superb & the colors are beautifully saturated with very clear images. The cards are on a thick matte papery stock and the edges seem to chip easily since there is no protective coating. This happens with borderless decks! The tuck box is thinner than your usual box and no LWB was included. For $20 that's fine with me.
Card size is 2 3/4" x4 7/8" (70mm x 124mm). The book I share here is a used OOP Llewellyn Publications 1st edition that I acquired prior to buying the 2nd edition deck. This book is what finally prompted me to seek out the tarot deck. The 2nd edition of the book is still available through Galde Press. https://www.GaldePress.com UPDATE: The deck and book are now out of print. I don't know if they will be printing this again. Please check with them for further information.

Hello, I've read the comments, and from what I understood, Galde Press moved locations. I'm not sure what is going on over there. I have no affiliation with them. I received their product and reviewed it over two and half years ago. I have not kept up with their business. I'm sorry that people are still waiting on their tarots. I will update my comments section to warn people of the situation.

Thank you for responding me so quickly and for your help too. I hope that Amber and Angel will receive their decks soon. I can understand that Phyllis Galde has been really busy those days, but she should have (at least) respond them when they tried to contact her by phone or emails in vain.

Hello! I have an update. Phyllis called me right back and apologized for the lack of communication. She said she spoke with the concerned customers and got their orders out. One of her staff quit this summer and she has been under a huge workload between reprinting the Romani Tarot and getting behind on orders. She said she is moving the press to Asheville, NC from Minneapolis, MN this Fall, and she is truly busy from preparing for the move. A huge undertaking.
