Gemini Solar Eclipse: Eclipse Season & Reversed Mystic Rapture

We’re in the midst of eclipse season! I pulled the Mystic Rapture card reversed from the Divine Muses Oracle and one of its reversed, or shadow, messages is about eclipse season reflection. Eclipses can bring change and force us to look at our Shadow. We are being asked to adapt & grow beyond the current perception of ourselves and that of the world.

Eclipses are an obscuration of the sun or moon, and this phenomenon reflects the darker side of our nature—or Shadow. If you are sensitive to energy, this reversed card is suggesting that you take heed during this eclipse season.

There are two or three eclipses in every Eclipse Season, which happens twice a year. We’re in the middle of the 1st of the year, and it's a dual eclipse portal with the New Moon Solar Eclipse coming up this Thursday in Gemini. This eclipse season began with the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on May 26th.

Eclipses can really throw us off and make one feel on edge. You might sense the friction in the world during this time or find yourself more easily irritated or impatient. With this Gemini Eclipse, indecision, distractions, gossip, or being stuck in our heads can cast a shadow.

In the USA’s chart, this Thursday’s Solar Eclipse is lighting, or should I say darkening, the 7th House of relationships. It’s also the House of projection & open enemies. If you're in the USA, be mindful of the “us vs. them” energies. It can get toxic this week, so you may want to stay out of the fray.
